12/19/2023 0 Comments The walking dead clementine rule 34![]() These contribute basically nothing new and are best saved for the Book 1 Discussion Megathread that will be pinned to the sub. Basically “wow I just read the comic, here are my thoughts”. Posts that are basically personal reviews of the comic will be removed. Basically the usual types of discussion posts you’d see for any of the games. For example posts like “Clem murdering everyone was really out of character”, “I hated this part”, "why Clem shouldn't have listened to Amos", etc. Posts discussing specific aspects/things of the comic are again fine. Memes making fun of the comic are fine, just make sure to keep them in good taste and don’t repeat the same joke 10 million times. For example if Clem runs into Chet in the comic and you want to post about it, title it something like “About that character…” and not “CHET CONFIRMED ALIVE IN VERMONT!” Avoiding spoilers in titles has always been a rule though we are generally more strict with it when something new releases such as this. Only on June 21st (a day before the official digital release) will posts be allowed.ĭo not put spoilers in the title of your posts since they are unavoidable even when flared due to flair spoilers not working on mobile. In the event the comic gets unofficially leaked ahead of time (as in the actual non-cover pics of the comic that haven’t been shown before), posts showing the leaked pics will be removed. Hard to put an exact limit, so for now let’s go with up to 3 pics per post provided that they’re needed for a discussion. Individual pictures of the comic are allowed to be posted (though not the full comic of course). How you learn of the book’s contents is up to you, just don’t post about it here or in the hoot chat. Don’t post mirrors/reuploads of the comic, don’t tell someone they should pirate it, don’t say “I read it for free online” etc. Most of this should be pretty straight forward but regardless we encourage you to read through everything even if you are a sub regular.ĭo not discuss or encourage piracy. To assist in calming the flames, we’ve laid out the sub’s policy for content relating to the Clem comic. Situations like these are probably the most difficult for a moderator, as a balance needs to be struck between allowing criticism of disliked media to be heard and preventing the sub from becoming a toxic hellhole. If the 12 page comic from last July is anything to go by, the community will most likely be in an uproar with whatever might happen. Never in the series' history has there been something where what seems to be most of the community (both in this sub and seemingly everywhere else) is actively not looking forward to. Next week is the release of Clementine: Book One.
